Eni: 3-way partnership in ecological transition

(CercleFinance.com) - Eni, together with Fincantieri, one of the world's largest shipbuilding groups, and RINA, a multinational inspection, certification and engineering consultancy firm, have signed an agreement to develop a partnership initiative for the energy transition.


The partnership formalises the commitment to develop joint projects, in line with the partners' strategies, to decarbonise the maritime sector in the medium and long term, with the aim of achieving Net Zero by 2050.

Giuseppe Ricci, Chief Operating Officer of Energy Evolution at Eni, believes that for the company, this is a further step in [its] journey towards the transition and decarbonisation of shipping.
