Enel: 2018 earnings up 27%

(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday evening Enel announced net income that is up 26.
7% at 4.79 billion euros, with EBITDA up 4.5% at 16.35 billion euros, for sales that are up 1.4% at nearly 75.7 billion euros.

Regarding sales, the Italian energy group announced higher revenues at its renewable energy business and on the free market in Italy. It also benefited from the acquisition of Eletropaulo in Brazil.

The Board of Directors will propose a dividend of 28 cents per share for 2018 (half of which has already been paid by an interim dividend last January), while management confirms the group's financial targets for 2019.
