Linde: two ASU commissioned in China

(CercleFinance.com) - Linde announces that it has started up two new air separation units (ASUs) in China to supply oxygen and nitrogen gas to Wanhua Chemical Group, the world's largest producer of isocyanate (MDI).


The new plants join two existing ASUs, also built and operated by Linde, to support Phases I and II of Wanhua Chemical's integrated chemical site and production centre in Yantai.

Linde said that its advanced technology and operational expertise will enable the four ASUs to operate on a larger scale and generate synergies through improved energy efficiency and operational flexibility.
