Accenture: to collaborate with CNH on connected vehicles
(CercleFinance.com) - Accenture and Microsoft are collaborating with CNH Industrial to help the Italian vehicle and equipment maker develop "smart" connected products and services.
Under their five-year collaboration, the three companies will launch a global network of digital hubs in Brazil, Europe, India and the US, they said.
CNH's connected vehicles will provide customers with new features, such as computer-aided farming, predictive maintenance, enhanced fleet management and green transportation, the companies added.
CNH Industrial also plans to develop data-driven digital services to help clients drive sustainability, such as yield improvement in agriculture and more-efficient vehicles and improved fleet management in the transport
industry.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
