TechnipFMC: to split into two separate entities

(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday TechnipFMC announced the resumption of activities with a view to its spin-off into two industry-leading, independent and listed companies: TechnipFMC, a fully integrated technology and services provider; and Technip Energies, a major player in engineering and technology.


According to TechnipFMC, this split would "provide both improved flexibility and growth opportunities, with each company uniquely positioned to capitalize on the energy transition".

The deal is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2021, subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals.
