BT: to boost digital teams

(CercleFinance.com) - BT today announced plans to increase the number of in-house talent in its Digital division to 6,300 by April 2024, well up from 3,500 on 1 April 2022.


Digital has been founded to accelerate BT's transformation, innovation and return to growth. To succeed, the group needs to attract and develop the best digital talent, and our efforts will boost the technology communities in the UK and India, BT said.

BT plans to bring on board around 1,000 people at its sites in Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol, Belfast, Ipswich and London. In India, the company plans to recruit around 1,800 employees around BT's hubs in Bengaluru and Gurugram.

BT is also pursuing an ambitious development and reskilling program, BT Digital Campus, to ensure that its employees are at the cutting edge of digital technology.
