BAE Systems: successful test of electric trucks

(CercleFinance.com) - BAE Systems has announced the successful testing, in partnership with Eaton, of an integrated electric propulsion system for medium and heavy-duty trucks, capable of improving the efficiency and performance of existing vehicles.


The tests, carried out on a Class 7 vehicle in Michigan, met performance targets.
The system, combining BAE Systems' electric motor and Eaton's EV transmission, reduces weight and simplifies integration.

BAE Systems will present this demonstration truck at the ACT Expo 2024.
