Antin: acquires a fire detection specialist

(CercleFinance.com) - Antin announced on Monday that it had acquired Consilium Safety, one of the world's leading suppliers of fire detection infrastructures.


The investment fund, which has AuM of over E30bn, said it had acquired the Swedish company, founded in 1912, from Nordic Capital for an undisclosed sum.

Operating in about fifty countries, Consilium Safety has an installed base of about 75,000 fire, flame and gas leak detection systems for the marine, energy, transport and construction sectors.
