bioMérieux: FY earnings up 6.2%

(CercleFinance.com) - bioMérieux has announced 2019 net income, group share that is up 6.
2% at 273 million euros, with its underlying operating profit up nearly 7% at 389 million euros, in line with its annual targets.

The in vitro diagnostics specialist's sales came in at 2,675 million euros, up 10.5% as reported, with organic growth of 7.2%, including organic growth of 8.3% over the last quarter.

Its board of directors will propose a dividend of 0.38 euro per share. For 2020, bioMérieux targets organic sales growth of between 5% and 7% at constant exchange rates and perimeter, as well as contributive operating income before non-recurring items of between 395 million and 415 million euros at current exchange rates.
