Drone Volt: firm order for two Heliplane UAVs
(CercleFinance.com) - Drone Volt has announced an initial firm order from a European army for two Heliplane UAVs, which could be followed by a further order for additional units in the medium term.
Drone VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing), with a fixed wing, the Heliplane takes off and lands vertically, but flies like an aircraft, enabling it to carry out inspection and surveillance missions lasting several hours over very long distances.
Available in three versions (2.4 m or 3.4 m or 4.10 m wingspan), this drone can carry up to 10 kg of payload, with a maximum possible endurance of 220 km and video return up to 80 km.
