Spie: Commission approves acquisition of Robur

(CercleFinance.com) - Under EU Merger Regulations the European Commission has approved the acquisition of sole control of Robur Industry Service Group, based in Germany, by Spie, based in France.


The transaction mainly concerns the provision of industrial and consulting services in the fields of wind power, water, energy, industry and processes, including in particular services related to the energy transition.

The Commission concluded that the proposed merger would not raise competition concerns, given the limited market positions of the companies concerned resulting from the proposed transaction.
