Spie: partnership in hydrogen in Germany

(CercleFinance.com) - Spie said on Thursday that it intends to help promote hydrogen technologies and related systems and infrastructure throughout Thuringia, a state in eastern Germany.


The French electrical engineering group said it has joined the association dedicated to the development of HySon, an institute for applied hydrogen research.

Spie will play the role of systems integrator and expert in its implementation, along with the maintenance and repair of technical infrastructures, particularly in the field of electricity, gas and heat distribution networks.

Having a network of 34 members with financial, scientific and political backgrounds, the HySon Institute will focus on the practical application of hydrogen technologies.
