Voltalia: builds solar power plant that will power the City

(CercleFinance.com) - Voltalia announces that it has started to build South Farm Solar, a 49.
9 MW solar power plant in the UK.

The plant will supply the City of London Corporation's buildings and services in the City's prestigious business district.

In November 2020, the City of London Corporation signed a power purchase agreement with Voltalia whereby the Square Mile public authority committed to purchase all the electricity generated by the new solar plant for a period of 15 years.

The solar power plant in the village of Spetisbury in Dorset is due to come on stream in 2022.
