Getlink: 10% drop in truck traffic in November

(CercleFinance.com) - Getlink announces that in November 2021, Shuttle Freight carried 131,298 trucks, down 10% year-on-year, penalised by an unfavourable base effect linked to stockpiling ahead of Brexit at the same time in 2020.


In contrast, its Shuttle carried 96,506 passenger vehicles over the same period, up 89% year-on-year, driven by less restrictive travel conditions than at the same time in 2020.

Since 1 January 2021, Shuttle Freight has carried just under 1.24 million trucks and Shuttle 864,630 passenger vehicles, down 6% and 35% respectively compared to the first 11 months of 2020.
