EDF: partners VW Group in Electric Mobility

(CercleFinance.com) - EDF has announced signing a partnership with Volkswagen Group France in order to support customers who choose electric engines.


The objective of the partnership with EDF is therefore to support any customer who buys an electric vehicle and to offer them a comprehensive range of services, including the supply of renewable electricity to their home.

EDF will thus make Volkswagen Group France's sales forces aware of its Vert Électrique Régional offer in order to offer this solution to each interested customer which will link the use of a means of an envionmentally friendly means of locomotion with green and local electricity.

As part of its "Together 2025" strategy, the Volkswagen Group plans to invest 33 billion euros in electromobility by 2024 and to launch a range of up to 75 new 100% electric vehicles by 2029.
