EDF: 9m organic sales growth of 2.9%

(CercleFinance.com) - EDF posted 9m sales of 50.
9 billion euros at 30 September 2019, up 2.9% in organic terms, in particular driven by production and marketing activities in France, related to favourable market conditions.

Nine-month revenues were also supported by growth in energy services businesses, the sound performance of EDF Trading and operations in Belgium and Brazil, as well as a better utilisation of gas capacity.

The energy group confirms its FY 2019 targets, including EBITDA of between 16 billion and 16.7 billion euros, and its 2019-2020 ambitions, including a target dividend payout ratio of 45% to 50% of underlying net profit.
