EDF: two credit facilities indexed on ESG criteria

(CercleFinance.com) - EDF announces that it has signed two revolving credit lines of 300 million euros each, with Crédit Agricole CIB and Société Générale CIB, the cost of which will be indexed on indicators of its performance in terms of CO2 emissions and energy efficiency.


Both these facilities include a cost adjustment mechanism related to three indicators - direct CO2 emissions, the use by EDF customers of its online consumption monitoring tools and the electrification of the passenger car fleet.

With these new agreements, the revolving credit lines indexed on ESG criteria now represent over five billion euros, or about 45% of EDF's credit facilities.
