Eutelsat: new multi-year agreement with Türksat
(CercleFinance.com) - Eutelsat Group announces that it has signed a new multi-year, multi-million dollar agreement with Türksat for the provision of Ka-band capacity on board the Eutelsat Konnect VHTS satellite.
The agreement will enable Türksat to operate several beams serving Europe to meet airlines' demand for in-flight connectivity services, according to the satellite operator. Due to enter service in October 2023, with a Ka-band capacity of 500 Gbps, Eutelsat Konnect VHTS serves the fixed broadband and in-flight connectivity market segments across Europe.
