Alstom inaugurates new test center in Sweden

(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom announces the opening of new state-of-the-art facilities in Västerås, Sweden.


This 10,000 m2 test and technology center will be dedicated to shaping the future of sustainable mobility solutions by bringing together Alstom's talents and technological expertise in a single innovative ecosystem.

It will bring together some 500 people from all areas, rolling stock and components, digital and integrated systems, services and general management.

This facility will add to the 16,000 m2 already occupied by the workshops and administration of Alstom's Services teams, and will support the company's transition to low-carbon transport systems on a global scale.
