Engie: signed an agreement with HRS and Toyota

(CercleFinance.com) - Toyota Motor Europe has signed an agreement with Hydrogen Refueling Solutions (HRS) and Engie for the deployment of a new generation of hydrogen refueling systems.


This solution will be tested as part of the EU-funded RHeaDHy project to accelerate the roll-out of hydrogen distribution infrastructure.

The new Twin Mid Flow technology features a double nozzle with increased flow, enabling trucks to be refueled in less than 10 minutes and light commercial vehicles in less than 5 minutes from a single dispensing point.

The advantage of this solution is that 40-tonne trucks can be refuelled in just 8 minutes for a range of 600 km, and in 12 minutes for a range of 900 km.

Toyota will supply a test bench and a truck equipped with Twin Mid Flow technology. Hydrogen Refueling Solutions and Engie will develop next-generation hydrogen refueling stations from the fourth quarter of 2025.
