Engie: receives offer from Eiffage for Equans

(CercleFinance.com) - Eiffage has announced that it has submitted an indicative offer to Engie for the purchase of Equans, whose activities are coherent with its development strategy.


Eiffage would not need to make a capital increase if it were to be selected for this transaction, it said.

Eiffage will only communicate on the outcome of this project to the extent necessary and in accordance with the confidentiality required for a process of this type, the group said in a statement.

In afternoon Tuesday trading Eiffage shares were up about 0.3%, while Engie shares were down about 1%.
