Engie: EU authorises acquisition of EdPR Offshore Espana

(CercleFinance.com) - The European Commission has approved the acquisition of EdPR Offshore España, based in Spain, by Engie and EDP Renovaveis.


Offshore España is a subsidiary of the EDP Group, which operates offshore wind farm activities worldwide. EDP Renovaveis is also a subsidiary of the EDP Group, which develops, builds and operates wind farms and solar power plants worldwide.

The Commission concluded that the proposed acquisition would not pose any competition problems, as it would only have a limited impact on the market.
