Renault: invests in new SUV in Brazil

(CercleFinance.com) - Renault do Brasil has announced an investment of E350m for the production of a new C-segment SUV on the group's new modular platform, such as the Kardian, a new vehicle that will have a hybrid engine.


Production of this SUV, which will be exported to other Latin American countries, will begin at the Curitiba Veiculos de Passeio plant of the Ayrton Senna industrial complex in São José dos Pinhais, Paraná state.

This new investment brings the total investment in Renault's Brazilian production site to E850m since 2021, demonstrating the strength of its commitment in the country, Renault do Brasil said.
