BNP Paribas: buys office complex in Paris

(CercleFinance.com) - BNP Paribas REIM, which manages BNP Paribas' real estate funds, announced on Thursday that it had acquired an office block in the 13th arrondissement of Paris.

The "47 Austerlitz" complex, which was built on the banks of the Seine in 2003, has a total surface area of nearly 22,700 m2 and is entirely leased from the French bank Natixis, a subsidiary of the BPCE group.

The real estate assets are located a few steps away from the headquarters of the newspaper Le Monde and the "Evolution" project, which will accommodate nearly 91,000 m2 of offices, student housing and shops next to Austerlitz station by 2025.

The property was acquired on behalf of SCPI Accimmo Pierre, BNP Paribas REIM explains in its press release. It has been sold by the German property giant Deka.
