BNP Paribas: launches France-China cooperation fund

(CercleFinance.com) - BNP Paribas, China Investment Corporation (CIC) and Eurazeo have announced the launch of the France-China Cooperation Fund with an initial closing of 400 million euros entirely subscribed by the three partners.
This fund that will be managed by Eurazeo.

The companies said that the fund will invest in French and continental European companies in business sectors with strong development potential in the Chinese market, in order to offer them new growth opportunities in this market.

The initial partners have the possibility of committing up to an additional 250 million euros to the fund, up to a maximum of 25% of the fund for BNP Paribas and CIC. Additional capital may also be raised from third party investors.
