Societe Generale: Executive Board reduced to two members
(CercleFinance.com) - Coinciding with the publication of its quarterly results, Societe Generale announces that its Board of Directors has approved the reduction of the number of corporate officers on the Executive Board to two members.
From November 1, the Executive Board will comprise Slawomir Krupa, Chief Executive Officer, and Pierre Palmieri, Chief Operating Officer. Philippe Aymerich, Chief Operating Officer and corporate officer, will cease his duties on October 31.
As part of this redistribution of functions at the head of the banking group, Slawomir Krupa will take over direct supervision of the retail banking activities in France (SG network and BoursoBank), private banking and insurance.
