Rémy Cointreau: acquires cognac house

(CercleFinance.com) - Rémy Cointreau has announced that it has completed the acquisition of Maison de Cognac J.
R. Brillet, meaning that its Rémy Martin will now integrate the operation of around fifty hectares of vines in Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne.

Rémy Martin will welcome the J.R Brillet cognac brand into its portfolio. Meanwhile, Belle de Brillet, which has major development potential in the upmarket liquor segment, will join the group's liquor and spirits division.
