Vinci: YTD motorway traffic up 2.2% at end-August

(CercleFinance.com) - Motorway traffic was down 2.
7% y-o-y in August 2022.
Passenger car traffic was adversely affected in August 2022 by calendar effects compared to August 2019 (unlike July). It is down by 3.3% compared to August 2021.

Over the first eight months of the year, traffic - both passenger cars (+1.8%) and trucks (+5.1%) - are relative to 2019.

Continuing the trend of previous months, the recovery in traffic continued in August at almost all the hubs in the Vinci Airports network: the increase is +76.1% compared to 2021.

Vinci said that the return of traffic to a level close to that of 2019 has been confirmed in several airports, notably in Portugal, Serbia and on the American continent.
