Capgemini: acquisition of a business from Unity

(CercleFinance.com) - Capgemini has announced the extension of its strategic alliance with Unity, a platform for the creation and exploitation of interactive 3D content in real time (3DTR), from which it will acquire its enterprise services business specializing in digital twins.


The deal, expected to close in Q2 2024, will see this team integrated into the Capgemini group, forming one of the largest pools of Unity-trained 'BtoB' developers in the world.

It will accelerate the bespoke implementation of Unity's real-time 3D visualization software for digital twin industry applications, and enable end-users to visualize, understand and interact with physical systems.
