Colas: pens contract in The Philippines
(CercleFinance.com) - Colas Rail, a member of a consortium led by Alstom, has been chosen by Mitsubishi Corporation to design and build the E&M (Electrical & Mechanical) systems and track works for the extension of the NSCR (North South Commuter Railway) line in the Philippines.
The NSCR line extension project consists of the construction of approximately 110 km of line, serving 27 new stations, with a 55 km southern section between Tutuban and Calamba, Laguna Province, and a 51 km northern section between Malolos and Clark International Airport, Pampanga Province.
The contract won by Colas Rail covers the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the tracks and overhead contact systems.
