Colas: current operating margin down over 9m

(CercleFinance.com) - Colas has reported 9m 2022 net income, group share of 139 million euros, up 9% from the 127 million euros at end-September 2021, with a current operating margin of 1.
8%, down 0.6 pt.

Bouygues' road construction subsidiary posted sales of 11.5 billion euros over the period ended 30 September 2022, up 18% (+10% in organic terms), along with an order backlog of 12.4 billion euros, up 30% y-o-y.

Given the inflationary context, Colas is replacing its target of a 4% current operating margin in 2023 with a target for an increase in 2023 current operating profit relative to 2022.
