Accor: strategic partnership with Alibaba

(CercleFinance.com) - Accor and Alibaba announce the signing of a strategic partnership for the development, over the next five years, of a range of digital applications and loyalty programs that will enhance the consumer and traveler experience.


This collaboration will mobilise customers at Alibaba's marketplaces by providing Chinese travelers with better access to Accor's international offerings, and by integrating Accor's customer journey into Alibaba's global ecosystem.

Fliggy, Alibaba's travel division, will therefore offer the possibility of making different bookings, with payments that can be made by Alipay, the digital payment service operated by Ant Financial, an Alibaba subsidiary.
