TotalEnergies: shortlisted for wind energy in Mediterranean

(CercleFinance.com) - TotalEnergies, Corio Generation and Qair announce that they have been shortlisted by the French Directorate General for Energy and Climate (DGEC) to participate in the tender for the construction of two floating wind farms in the Mediterranean.


The group said that these two projects, each with a capacity of around 250 MW, could provide enough clean energy to cover the annual electricity consumption of almost one million people.

The partners plan to involve regional players in all stages of the project and to promote the local economy so that the regions can fully benefit from the positive spin-offs in terms of activities and jobs.
