Total: set to open a digital factory in Paris

(CercleFinance.com) - Total announces that it will open a digital factory in early 2020 that will bring together up to 300 developers, data scientists and other experts to accelerate its digital transformation and create value in all its businesses.


Led by Frédéric Gimenez, Total's chief digital officer in charge of the digital factory project, these teams will be brought together with operational staff from Total's various businesses in a dedicated area of 5,500 m2 in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris.

The oil and gas company aims to generate - by 2025 - value of up to 1.5 billion dollars a year for the company, whether in the form of additional revenues or savings in operating or investment expenses.
