Air Liquide: posts H1 net income of E1.2bn, up 23.1%

(CercleFinance.com) - Air Liquide today reported H1 2021 sales of 10.
8 billion euros, up 9.2% on a comparable basis y-o-y.

Underlying operating profit came in at 1.9 billion euros, up 17.1%.
Air Liquide recorded H1 net income, group share of 1.2 billion euros, up 23.1% excluding FX factors, representing EPS of 2.63 euros.

The group said that the very good performance in H1 reflects both the momentum of its markets and the acceleration of sales in Q2, which exceeded their 2019 level in all regions and for all businesses.
