JCDecaux: 10-year contract for metro in Brazil

(CercleFinance.com) - Yesterday JCDecaux announced that it has been awarded a 10-year contract with CCR Metro Bahia to operate advertising on the two metro lines in Salvador (Brazil).


This new partnership, which is due to start in March 2023, supports JCDecaux's development strategy and strengthens its position as the leading media company in the Brazilian metro market.

The contract stipulates that JCDecaux will operate advertising on line 1, which covers 12 km and 8 stations, and on line 2, which covers 19 km and 12 stations.

The current advertising systems on lines 1 and 2 will now be managed by JCDecaux, including over 40 digital panels in all stations, 162 analogue panels in the bus stations and 520 TV screens inside the metro trains.
