M6: H1 earnings up 14.5%

(CercleFinance.com) - M6 has reported a 14.
5% increase in net profit to E106.5m for H1 2023, while underlying EBITA fell 16.2% to E135m, giving an operating margin of 21.7%.

Revenues fell by 6.4% to E621.9m, including a 4.4% decline excluding the effect of changes in its consolidation scope. In a worse macroeconomic environment, TV advertising revenues fell by 6%, while revenues from other media rose by 2.2%.

M6 says that the advertising market remains uncertain given the current economic climate, although positive signs are beginning to appear in H2, with the group continuing to develop content such as 6play and 6play Max.
