M6: 9m revenue flat at E954.2m

(CercleFinance.com) - M6 has posted consolidated revenues of 290.
1million euros, down 5.8% y-o-y, including advertising revenue that is down 8.2%.

Excluding non-recurrent items, consolidated operating profit from ordinary activities (EBITA) reached 57.2 million euros, just down from 58.7 million euros in Q3 2021, although well above the 34.2 million euros in pre-crisis Q3 2019. Its operating margin (excluding non-recurring items) increased by +0.7 point to 19.7%.

The television channel, which has been in the spotlight regarding a potential (although now abandoned) merger with TF1, generated 9m revenues of 954.2 million euros, flat y-o-y. The increase in non-advertising revenues (+10.8%) was offset by a slight decline in advertising revenues (-2.4%).

At end-September 2022, consolidated EBITA excluding non-recurring items amounted to 222.7 million euros, up +5.5% y-o-y. Finally, its operating margin reached 23.3%, excluding non-recurring items, up 1.2 point from a year ago.
