Hermès: H1 net income up 7%
(CercleFinance.com) - Hermès has announced consolidated net income, group share of 754 million euros for the first six months of 2019, up 7% (+15% excluding a non-current capital gain related to the sale of the old store premises of the former Galleria store in Hong Kong in 2018).
Underlying operating income increased by 15% to 1,144 million euros, representing profitability (34.8%), which is close to the record level of H1 2018 (34.9%), for sales of 3,284 million euros, up 15% (+12% at constant exchange rates).
Over the medium term, despite increased economic, geopolitical and monetary uncertainties worldwide, the luxury group confirms its target for ambitious sales growth at constant rates.
