Atos: Bain Capital reportedly interested in asset takeover

(CercleFinance.com) - Atos shares are up nearly 6%, as the financial daily Les Echos understands that US private equity giant Bain Capital is interested in taking over the company's assets.


Candidates for a takeover have until this evening to submit their rescue offers.

According to the newspaper, Bercy has opened the door for non-French bids, such as those from Daniel Kretinsky or Bain Capital, by safeguarding Atos' sovereign assets last week.
