Atos: wants to convince its shareholders about DXC

(CercleFinance.com) - Atos' management is reportedly in discussions with its main shareholders to obtain their support in the acquisition of the US company DXC, according to Bloomberg.


These shareholders include Siemens (11.4%) Vanguard and Norges Bank (2.4%) BlackRock (1.4%), AXA IM and Aviva (1.1%) Invest Securities says.

Invest Securities says that the main argument would be that the group's strengthened presence in the US would be a significant competitive advantage (DXC is expected to generate 37% of its 17.5 billion dollar 2020-21 sales in US (i.e. 6.46 billion dollars or 5.34 billion euros) compared ith Atos' 2.6 billion euro expected revenues in North America in 2020).

The group would therefore like to make a takeover bid if it manages to convince its shareholders about this, the press agency says.
