Nokia: helps network upgrades in the Philippines
(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia today announced that Globe Telecom will deploy its BNG solution in several key regions of the Philippines to modernize its infrastructure and improve the broadband experience for its customers.
The solution will include Nokia's 7750 service router to manage Globe Telecom's residential broadband services.
This solution will help Globe Telecom optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and introduce support capability for Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) services.
Kent Wong, Vice President and Head of IP Business at Nokia Asia Pacific, said he was "delighted" to be working on this initiative to modernize the BNG network for an overall improved broadband experience.
