Nokia: enhances WaveSuite platform

(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia has announced enhancements to its WaveSuite optical network automation platform aimed at addressing customers' pressing needs for bandwidth, reliability and latency.


The WaveSuite platform helps optimize networks and their operations, scale network capacity and monetize network assets.

Faced with increasing network complexity and limited resources, network operators are increasingly relying on automation to make more efficient use of network expertise and reduce human errors associated with tedious manual processes, improve service turnaround times, reduce operational cost reductions and generate revenue, it says.

Today's enhancements to WaveSuite streamline network operations to reduce labor time and inherent human error, accelerate the introduction of new capabilities to reduce time to revenue, and help eliminate risks associated with network outages that impact end-customer service level agreements (SLAs).
