Nokia: partnership in fiber with Xantara

(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia has announced that it is expanding its partnership with Xantaro in the UK to connect over two million UK homes to broadband via next generation fiber, with speeds of up to 10Gb/s.


The project covers the whole of the UK, from the south-west of England to parts of London, from the north of England to Scotland and Wales, Nokia said.

Xantaro, a distribution partner and service integrator, is already working with a dozen alternative service providers (AltNets), companies that are rolling out fiber networks in areas where there is little or no broadband supply.
