E.ON: strategic partnership with TES in hydrogen

ON announces that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Tree Energy Solutions (TES) to import green hydrogen on a large scale into Germany. Both partners want to jointly drive the ramp-up of the future hydrogen economy.

TES is developing a green energy hub in the German port of Wilhelmshaven. The energy hub will include a receiving terminal, storage facilities and a clean, net zero oxy-fuel power plant.

Meanwhile, E.ON will significantly expand its commitment and plans to engage in electrolysers, grid infrastructure and renewable energy to produce green hydrogen close to customers.

Little impact though - the share is currently down about 0.7%, although is outperforming the German index, which is down about twice this.
