E.ON: confirms its outlook for 2021

(CercleFinance.com) - The energy company E.
ON's operating businesses continued to perform strongly over the first nine months of the year. Sales increased by E4.8 billion year-on-year to 48.1 billion euros. This increase was partly thanks to the integration of the Slovakian company VSEH, which E.ON acquired in August 2020.

Adjusted EBIT increased by 46% to around 3.9 billion euros, while adjusted net profit doubled to around 2.2 billion euros.

In its interim results trading update, E.ON raised its outlook for FY 2021. The Essen-based group still expects FY 2021 adjusted EBIT of 4.4 to 4.6 billion euros and adjusted net profit of 2.2 to 2.4 billion euros.
