BASF: working to reduce emissions in agriculture
(CercleFinance.com) - BASF announces that its global carbon trials show a potential reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in agriculture of up to 30% compared to standard methods.
Running from 2021 to 2023, the trials show that there is no one-size-fits-all solution, and that reducing emissions requires a tailored combination of interventions and technologies.
BASF will continue to test agricultural strategies to find effective climate solutions.
Climate change is already happening. Farming methods must be adapted to significantly reduce emissions without compromising yields", says Marko Grozdanovic, Senior Vice President Global Marketing at BASF Agricultural Solutions.
