BASF: contract to transfer equipment with Amoeba

(CercleFinance.com) - The producer of biological biocide and biocontrol products Amoéba, one of the leaders in biocontrol in France, has announced signing a contract to transfer equipment in collaboration with the German chemical giant BASF.


Amoéba will provide experimental products containing the amoeba lysate Willaertia magna C2c Maky, and BASF will carry out tests to assess the performance of these products in preventing fungal diseases on a basket of crops.

Both companies are thus embarking on a targeted research phase, which, if conclusive, could encourage the commercial development of biocontrol solutions. Amoéba does not currently market any product.
