Adidas: resumes dividend payments

(CercleFinance.com) - Adidas has announced that its Board of Directors has decided to resume dividend payments, following a series of financing measures that the German sports goods supplier has successfully completed over the past year.


Subject to approval from the Supervisory Board, it will thus propose shareholders the payment of a dividend of three euros per share for FY 2020 at its AGM on 12 May.

The dividend proposal, which reflects the company's stronger financial profile as well as management's positive outlook for the current year, would result in a total dividend payment of 585 million euros, the group adds.
