Siemens: supports KSB's digital transformation

(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens Smart Infrastructure announces that it is working with the Swiss hospital Kantonsspital Baden (KSB) to make it 'one of the smartest hospitals in the country', thanks to more than 7,000 IoT sensors and the Siemens Xcelerator digital platform.


Planned for 2025, the project aims to improve patient experience, care and energy efficiency.

An internal navigation application and 2,000 smart labels will facilitate access to equipment and optimize productivity, Siemens points out.

Adrian Schmitter, Managing Director of KSB, underlines the importance of this collaboration to achieve a digital transformation for the benefit of care and staff working conditions.
